Héctor - Your friend in Paris
Experience Paris like a LOCAL,
not like a tourist
I'll guide you in a flexible and discreet way to discover authentic Paris — the one you won't find in tourist guides.
I'm Mexican, +10 years in Paris, and I know exactly what you need: trust, clarity and genuine surprises!

The reality of the planning traveller
You love planning everything... but you're EXHAUSTED
Does this sound familiar?
I know exactly how you feel. I also arrived in Paris not knowing anyone, not speaking French, and I felt completely lost. Mexico City is much larger, but Paris can be intimidating in ways you don't expect.
I spent months learning to survive here. And now, after more than 10 years, I want you not to have to go through the same.
The endless cycle
You research for hours, compare prices, read reviews, plan every detail. But in the end, you always forget something important or feel overwhelmed by too much information.
Fear of the unknown
You don't speak French, don't know the city, don't know how to use the metro. Imagine finding yourself alone late at night, lost, not knowing who to ask.
The pressure to "make the most of your time"
You're here for just a few days and want to see EVERYTHING. But between endless queues, tourist restaurants and visitor traps, you end up frustrated and tired.
You want to enjoy, not survive
You came to Paris to relax, make memories, enjoy. But the reality is you spend more time worrying about logistics than living in the moment.
What you get
A guided experience designed for you to ENJOY, not to survive
Forget about logistical stress. I take care of everything so you just have to relax and experience Paris.
Personalised and flexible service
I don't follow a rigid itinerary. I adapt to your pace, your interests, your style. Want to change plans? No problem. Need a rest? Let's go to that café I know.
WhatsApp availability during your stay
Questions about the metro? Need a recommendation? Lost something? I'm just a message away. You're never alone.
Authentic surprises (like that favourite restaurant)
I take you to places that aren't in tourist guides. That small, unassuming restaurant where you feel at home. Those corners only a local knows.
Local, affordable and delicious food
No expensive tourist traps. I show you where real Parisians eat — good prices, authentic flavour, no time wasted.
Help with transport, language and logistics
Metro, RER, bus — I explain how to move like a local. Need to speak to someone? I translate. Problems with bookings? I solve them.
Real-time problem solving
Weather change? Transport strike? Restaurant closed? +10 years here taught me to improvise and find quick solutions. You won't even notice the problem.
The process
How it works: 4 simple steps
Step 1: Contact me on WhatsApp
Tell me when you arrive, how many days you're staying, what you'd like to see. No need to have everything planned — we can build the itinerary together.
Step 2: We design your experience
I propose options according to your interests: museums, gastronomy, architecture, nightlife. We adjust according to your energy, budget and preferences. All flexible.
Step 3: Enjoy Paris stress-free
We meet where agreed. I take care of transport, communication, bookings, unforeseen events. You just walk, ask, discover, enjoy.
Step 4: Leave with unforgettable memories
At the end of your visit, you didn't just see Paris — you experienced it like a local. No stress, no getting lost, with authentic stories you'll always remember.

My story
I also arrived in Paris COMPLETELY LOST
I understand you because I LIVED THE SAME
I'm Héctor, but you can call me 'Alfador', Mexican, systems engineer, and I arrived in Paris more than 10 years ago. Despite my experience with technology and travel, I felt completely overwhelmed.
Paris can be intimidating in ways you don't expect — the language, transport, culture. But it can also be magical when you have someone to show you the way.
That's why I created "Your friend in Paris" — to be that support I didn't have, so you can enjoy from day one.
Mexico City vs Paris
I come from one of the world's largest cities. I thought Paris would be easier. But not speaking French, not knowing anyone, not understanding how things work... made me feel vulnerable.
The metro that seemed like a maze
The central stations where metro, RER and trains converge were intimidating. I missed connections, got on the wrong platform, didn't know who to ask. I spent months learning to survive.
More than 10 years later
Today Paris is my home. I know every corner, every shortcut, every authentic place. And now I want you not to have to go through what I went through. I want to be that local friend I didn't have.
What makes me different
Three pillars of my GUIDE SERVICE
I'm not a generic tour. I'm your local friend who cares for you, guides you and surprises you.
I adapt to your pace and needs. Romantic trip? I respect your intimacy. Business trip? Efficiency and punctuality. Family trip? Patience and flexibility. I'm not a rigid guide — I'm your friend who adjusts to you.
From when you arrive until you leave, I'm just a message away. Question about the metro at 11pm? Need a doctor? Want to change tomorrow's plans? You write, I respond. Simple.
That unassuming restaurant where the food is incredible. That hidden viewpoint without tourists. That bakery where Parisians queue every morning. I take you where tourist guides DON'T go.

Real experiences
What those who have EXPERIENCED PARIS WITH ME say
" I hired Hector to accompany my parents who don't speak French. Not only did he take them everywhere with infinite patience, but he showed them places that I, after visiting several times, didn't know. My parents were delighted. "
María G.
Daughter of Mexican tourists
" I travelled alone for the first time and was very afraid of getting lost or not being able to communicate. Alfador accompanied me on the first day and gave me so much confidence that I was able to explore alone the following days. But knowing he was available on WhatsApp gave me total peace of mind. "
Carlos R.
Colombian tourist
" The best part was feeling like I was with a friend, not a guide. Alfador took us to an incredible restaurant I would never have found alone. Delicious food, fair prices, and zero tourists. That's priceless. "
Laura M.
Argentine tourist
Resolve your doubts
FREQUENTLY asked questions
I don't speak French, can I enjoy Paris?
Of course. I translate everything you need — restaurants, transport, shops, emergencies. Plus, I teach you useful basic phrases so you feel more confident if you want to explore alone later.
What if I have an emergency?
I'm available on WhatsApp throughout your stay. Medical emergency? I'll accompany you to hospital. Lost something? I'll help you look for it. Problem with the hotel? We'll solve it together. You're never alone.
Won't hiring a companion be too expensive?
Think about all the time you save researching, all the stress you avoid getting lost, all the expensive tourist places you skip. My service pays for itself — and you leave with experiences that are priceless.
Do I really need a companion? I can use translation apps
Apps help you with words, but don't solve real problems: where to eat well and cheaply, how to avoid scams, what to do if there's a transport strike, how to get somewhere quickly without getting lost. I do.
How do I know I can trust you?
I've been in Paris for +10 years, I've accompanied dozens of Spanish-speaking families, and my reputation is based on word of mouth. Ask anyone who has hired me — they all repeat or recommend me.
What if I want to change plans during the day?
No problem. I don't follow rigid itineraries. Want to rest? Let's go to a café. Saw something interesting? We explore. Weather changed? We adjust. Total flexibility.
Can I hire just half a day or must I book full days?
I offer flexible options: half day, full day, several days, or WhatsApp availability without physical presence. You decide what you need according to your budget and preferences.
Ready to experience Paris STRESS-FREE?
Stop planning alone. Stop worrying about getting lost. Let me take care of it while you enjoy.
